My first venture — helping vernacular musicians produce music videos in Kenya's Southern Rift Valley. No studio, no clients — just a camera and a belief that African stories deserved to be told well.

Graduated from Kenya Institute of Mass Communication with a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism. This gave me the technical foundation that everything since has been built on.
Joined oDesk/Elance (now Upwork) and started delivering video production to international clients — US, UK, Australia — long before "remote-first" was a trend. Also launched Junior Green Generation Concepts, an environmental conservation initiative.

2013
Registered Techtube Video Studio as a sole proprietorship, focused on scalable screencast video production for online clients. This was the moment I stopped freelancing and started building.
Built PichApp, a mobile app for photo print delivery in Kenya. Launched with ambition, abandoned in 2016 after operational costs made scaling impossible. This failure taught me more than most of my successes — specifically the power of lean, digital-first models.

Closed Trendline Network Ltd. by applying the Pareto Principle to my own business. Eliminated high overheads, dropped what wasn't working, and focused exclusively on the profitable, scalable, online-based Techtube Studio. Clarity is a superpower.
Relaunched Techtube Video Studio Ltd. as a registered limited company with an AI-driven model specialising in screencast, explainer, and 2D animation production — combining StratBot (AI strategy) with senior human execution. Lean, scalable, global.
